More super smashing news – Kate is a winner of Tomorrow Talent Awards!

At the Secret Event Service HQ we are literally on cloud 9 after seeing all of our hard work pay off and amazing opportunities fruition! And most importantly, we are absolutely delighted to announce that our lovely, amazingly talented leader, Kate Hutchinson, is a winner of the ultra-prestigious Tomorrow’s Talent Awards, hosted by The Meeting Show!

The awards programme, sponsored by London & Partners, aims to champion talented newcomers to the industry and provide a platform for nurturing, mentoring and supporting the industry leaders of the future. Thanks to Kate’s amazing achievements of being under 30 yet a founder and CEO of a three-year-old events agency; she saw off competition and made the seriously hot list of winners.

The winners list is made up of meeting and events industry’s rising stars, all which are talented event planners or buyers aged 30 and under. All entrants were assessed for their achievements to date, ability to face challenges, drive and ambition, and for their engagement with the wider industry and the future impact they could make.

As for most businesses across the events and hospitality industry, the last 12 months have been incredibly challenging, with many businesses not making it through to the other side or had to lose brilliant team members. Whereas with Kate’s absolute mastery of being a leader, at the Secret Event Service, we’ve worked really, really, hard and it’s paying off with more staff joining our brilliant team, amazing new clients and fantastic new event services to offer our amazing customers.

The awards were judged by some of the experts in the industry including; Paul Harvey, editor of M⁢ Paul Black, Head of Business Events at London & Partners; Patrick Delaney, Managing Partner at SoolNua; Fiona Macdonald, Head of Strategy & Business Planning at VisitBritain; Ryan Curtis-Johnson, Head of PR & Marketing at DRPG; Leigh Cowlishaw, Managing Partner at Black Box Partnerships, Priya Narain, Co-Founder & Director at Event First Steps; and Jack Marczewski, Event Director at The Meetings Show.

Kate said “I’m honestly thrilled & feeling very honoured to be noticed at this level by professionals that I look up to, as someone to watch for the future, is an incredible honour. Thank you.”

And, to top it off, we found out about Kate’s amazing win at the cusp of our third birthday celebrations – What a month!! We cannot wait to all celebrate together really soon.
