We are a rapidly growing full-service events agency based in the heart of Leeds. We opened in June 2018 and since our inception, our team has grown from 1 to 8! Our team plan, create and deliver wonderful events for our rapidly expanding list of clients. From conferences to business lunches we aim to deliver all the events we hold with a purpose. Whether it be to expand and improve your customer relationship management or to give back to your wider community, we are determined to always innovate with curiosity and creativity to deliver events with a wider purpose that our clients and community can gain from. Our managing director Kate Hutchinson studied for a degree in sociology at The University of Durham and volunteered as an Events Co-ordinator for the award-winning Durham university charities committee during her studies; after graduating she kick started her career in the events industry. Kate has delivered all kinds of events from being on the board for Pride in London to delivering the biggest conference and exhibition outside of London, she has built an impressed and unrivalled event portfolio. As Kate moved up the events ladder, she quickly identified a gap in the market for an events agency that created events with a purpose, so she decided to promptly fill that gap with her own agency, and so The Secret Event Service was born. At The Secret Event Service we pride ourselves on giving back. We are proud to support charities such as the phenomenal Smart Works Leeds, which our MD Kate is a Board Trustee! Kate is also a group leader for HCPT – The Pilgrimage Trust, who take disabled and disadvantaged children on life changing holidays. Due to all this charity work we’ve been nominated for yet another Yorkshire Choice Award for Charitable Business of the Year, we are so proud to be nominated for our efforts to give back and we’d love for you to vote for us!
One of the top secrets to the success of The Secret Event Service is our Secret Business Lunch. We hold a quarterly business lunch where we bring the right stakeholders together and fuel a highly beneficial networking lunch. Our very first one was held in October 2019 at Crafthouse in Leeds, where our attendees gained some great connections from the event and gave incredible feedback!
